Welders are skilled at joining metals together using welding equipment in order to create a strong structure or maintain the integrity of the existing one.
What they do
Welders and related machine operators weld ferrous and non ferrous components (such as pipes and vessels) together. They also strengthen the weakening parts that are worn out. They are also skilled at reading blueprints and shape materials to meet the construction needs that are depicted in it.

A certified Welders and Related Machine Operators,
After two years: $52,000
An apprentice:[$15] per hour.
Requirements
Grade 10 education is minimum. Unions require grade 12. High school certification is preferred.
